Operation Squeegee is in FULL SWING!!

What is Operation Squeegee you ask. Well Operation Squeegee is a Second Life fundraiser, raising money to help with the Gulf Coast oil clean up. The funds raised from this will go to the National Wildlife Federation, where it will be used in several different ways that will help restore the wildlife habitats and cleaning the animals and area.

There are entertainers, including DJ’s and storytellers, activities and events, and booths from different designers who are all supporting Operation Squeegee. We’ve all heard about the oil spill, whether it be on the news, friends, or the internet, donations are accepted inworld or on the NWF donation form. Every little bit helps.

Arora Zanzibar of `*~Zanzibar creationZ~*` sent me this outfit of Tiller Turtle. She is one of many designers who have made items in support of OS. This outfit comes in two different styles, Tiller and Tomkin, which is “baby” sized and come in male and female versions. The wellies come in two different heights, ankle and high top and include a passenger, lol. They make squelching noises and leave little oil prints that fade after a few seconds.
